  4. His band is amazing!!! The NPR Tiny Desk is one of the top 5 of 2019. I feel like he's what RnB and soul music has been missing!

  7. I know I'm telling my age here but finally times have caught up with real music appreciation. Late 90s Early 2000s rejected the Fathers and Mother's of this genre. . Then it was called NeoSoul record labels had trouble promoting the sound because it was an amalgamation of hip hop, rnb, blues n soul, set to funk and jazz rhythms with hip hop accents. We have Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, Bilal, D'Angelo, Raphael Saadiq, The Roots, Erykah Badu, and many more for birthing the sound, these artists don't get the accreditation they deserve
